Ham Social at Icy Point

Yah, yah, it is still the Fourth of July long weekend, but since you should be done by Sunday with blowing up a small part of this country in celebration, what better way to enjoy the end of the weekend than at a social gathering of amateur radio operators.  The chosen venue is a little place called Icy Point in Clifton Park.  Standard time, of course, i.e., 1:00pm Sunday.

If you are not familiar with Icy Point, they make ice cream to order on very cold plates.  No, this is not the same as what goes on at places like Stone Cold Creamery.  At Icy Point, the ice cream is made right before you eyes, not simply chopped up and mixed with Oreo bits or something.  Then, it is removed from the cold plate in rolls and place in a dish.  And finally, you get to further customize it with additional candies, cookies, and other toppings.  The possibilities are almost endless.

Oh, and all the hams will be there.
