Cabin fever is a terrible, terrible thing. The ham socials at various ice cream places would be a workable cure if only it wasn’t winter. However, as we have proved in the past, we can be ever so successful gathering indoors.
How about we meet at Panera Bread in East Greenbush? Well, technically it is in Rensselaer, at least according to its mailing address: 279 Troy Rd, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Be that as it may, it is on US Route 4 in the Rensselaer County Plaza. (I had no idea it was named the Rensselaer Country Plaza, but it is the same place you’d find the Walmart in East Greenbush, er, Rensselaer.)
The date for this social gathering of area hams is Sunday, January, 26, 2025, at 1:00pm. Arrive when you can, but late stragglers may be relegated to the kiddy’s table.
