Peter W2FW, the enthusiastic voice of the weekly buy/sell/swap Trader Net, has been a fixture on the 146.94 repeater every Wednesday evening for the past five years (as of this month, in fact). He has only missed two nets, and that was because the Trader Net was superseded by community service events needing the repeater.
Well, as it turns out, there will be no Trader Net on August 5, but this time not because of a repeater scheduling issue. Peter will be enjoying a family function.
As another ham so succinctly put it, “Family before broadcast.” Peter, have a pleasant time away. We will survive.
